What it is
Cross-platform terminal emulator built for those of us that live in the terminal.
It is for Linux desktop users who want a terminal whose whole interface is HTML, CSS and JavaScript they can read and change.
What it does
- Tabs, each its own login shell on its own PTY, titled from the OSC 0/2 title the shell sets
- Light and dark, both faces of the GNOME palette; on
systemthe window follows the desktop's setting live - The fastest renderer that works -- xterm's WebGL addon where a
webgl2context exists, falling back to the canvas addon - Flow control that reaches the shell -- the server stops reading a PTY once 1 MiB is unacknowledged by xterm's parser
- Its own window chrome -- frameless and transparent, with the rounded card the page draws as the window silhouette
- Clipboard through
navigator.clipboard, falling back to the desktop's own clipboard through GDK
